1. Choose a book in the Bible

2. Transcribe it by hand into a notebook, word for word

3. Allow yourself time to stop and cross-reference, take notes, and pray as you go

4. Put no time limit on completing the study

5. Allow the Holy Spirit time to bring you understanding and enlightenment

6. Read and write with the mindset of growing in grace and knowledge; not simply completing a task in an assigned period of time
